Norwegian regulator succeeds in deleting Facebook casino pages

Facebook has removed 36 online casino pages that, without a local license, were attracting players from Norway. Among those who fell under the "reduction" are many well-known brands such as Vega & John, Rizk, ComeOn and others.

The pages were reported to be in Norwegian and called for play on sites that did not have a Norwegian license. At the moment, the gambling business in the country is a state monopoly. Given the attractiveness of this market, obviously the regulator has to contend with a considerable number of people who want to snatch a piece of the pie.

However, according to some reports, the association dealing with the problem of gambling in the country is studying what will be best for the players. Leave the monopoly or open the market for licensing.
